Maruti Suzuki introduced the BS6-compliant 1.2-liter petrol unit in the WagonR in June this year. Now, it has upgraded the 1.0-liter petrol unit to meet the BS6 norms. It is offered on the Lxi and the Vxi trims of the WagonR. The compact hatchback now comes with the S-Presso’s BS6-compliant 1.0-liter petrol engine.

It is still offered with the same transmission options: a 5-speed manual in the Lxi trim along with a 5-speed AMT in the Vxi. The BS6-compliant 1.0-liter engine is pricier by Rs 8,000.
